My individual crochet Havana twists – NO CORNROWS! NO KNOTTING!
It took me two days to finish this hairstyle because it was my first time trying to crochet myself and I had watched videos on faux locs but got Havana twists and the process may be similar but it wasn't the same. It took me about 30 minutes to figure out the first one and I ended up watching a new YouTube video which explained it although it took me a while to completely get the hang of it.
How much is too much? -moisturizing
Moisturizing your hair is really important as it is what makes your hair soft and manageable, all hair needs moisture but african type hair needs it even more due to its curly nature and the fact that it takes longer for hair to travel down the shaft.
ECO Styled gel is cancelled?
First things first, the products in ECO Styler gel are; water, carbomer, hydrolized wheat protein, PVP, glycerine triethanolamine, sodium hydroxymethylglycinate, polysorbate 20, yellow 5, tetrasodium EDTA, fragrance. Long informative post.
Black tea rinse
So I've been experimenting with several hair rinses lately; I've done the ACV rinse and now a black tea rinse and soon enough I'll be doing a rice water rinse. So a black tea rinse as the name implies its rinsing your hair with black tea completely saturating it and, leaving it in for a bit then rinsing it off.
How much is too much? -Washing
First things first, there is a lot of controversy on whether to wash with shampoo or co-wash because shampoo strips the hair (Dedicated post on sulphate or no sulphate coming soon).

The theory behind ACV rinses is that it helps to alleviate an itchy scalp, exfoliates the scalp and gives the hair shine.
How much is too much? – Moisture
Now moisture is basically water but in this post moisture will be centred on conditioning and deep conditioning.
