5 essential oils you need in your hair cabinet

An essential oil is a natural product extracted from a plant. They usually have volatile aroma compounds that make them harmful if used to a large amount.

Essential oils have several uses such as in aromatherapy, massage therapy, wound care, skin and hair care. Because they need to be used in smaller quantities they are usually put in carrier oils (e.g. Coconut oil) upon use.

  1. My top 3 are lavender, rosemary and tea tree oil. They are excellent, smell wonderful, and tea tree has really helped with my dry, itchy scalp.


  2. I use eucalyptus oil regularly w/ castor oil and it has help grow my hair tremendously, and I always try to use products that have rosemary oil and peppermint oil in them because all that you said. BTW this was a great post!
