Hey guys!
It’s August! August is an awesome month for A drop of black because it’s the month this blog was launched.
Our fro friend from this month is the beautiful Todimu, she is really friendly and you guys should reach out to get on Instagram.
1. What is your name and give us an insight into what you do?
Hi. I’m oduniyi oluwatodimu Joyce.
Can remeber how long exactly that I’ve been natural for but my last relaxer was August 2016.
Team 4c all the way. I’m not sure if I have other textures though.
Low porosity.
My relaxed hair was not so ‘wow’ and I overheard people talking about how fast locs and natural hair grows.
Maybe shrinkage but at the same time I’m into just loving my hair for now .
Length and volume ( I want to hit shoulder length before the end of the year.)
Spray bottle, scalp massager and oils 🤣😍
Puff.
Spraying, (most times just water ) I loc with water castor oil and shea butter but it isn’t leaving my hair moisturized, if i loc at 7 in d morning my hair will be dry by 12 and just oily so im trying to see what works.
Kinda 🙈.
I don’t know, I think its part of human nature but I’m really care free so I might have forgotten about the comparison in 5 to 10 minutes.
I used to have really bad hand in hair syndrome I’d cut my hair with MY hand and it cut so bad that it looked like a tapered cut people we’re always telling me to cut it but I paid them no mind and instead of doing a big chop im trying to grow it all out.
