Length check
So I decided to do a length check for my hair because it's been a while and I want to know if I have retained any length in the past few months and so I can project how long my hair should be by December.
How to reduce shrinkage
As a girl with natural African hair, the shrinkage is real, At times it's even realer than real. Shrinkage can be really nice, it makes your afros fuller and some quite nice styles can be done with it but there are times you just want your hair with minimal shrinkage so you can show off your length right?
How to twist your hair
So yesterday I had a fun time trying to teach someone how to twist, we used my hair as practice and thankfully he got it after a few tries. That inspired my blog post for today, as easy as twists seem they are actually very easy to mess up because if you do it wrongly it'll keep loosening.
My deep conditioning routine
In case you didn't know, now you know deep conditioning is very important to keeping your hair strengthened and moisturized. I deep conditioned my hair on Friday and today is Tuesday, It's still soft and well moisturized with my coils so nicely defined.
